About Gongkhar Medical Tree Society:
The society formed is known by the name "Gongkhar Medical Tree Society, Tawang" headed by Geshe Thupten Phuntsok (Lharam i.e Ph.D in Buddhist Philosophy) and acting as key role of the "G.M.T.S. Tawang" as President.
The aims and objectives of the "Gongkhar Medical Tree Society, Tawang" is to give maximum beneficial treatment of its own kind as the diseases commonly faced by the rural poor peoples are Gastroentrities, Hypertensions and many more. Also the society is providing the medicines free of cost at shortest period.
Hence, considering all the problems, the society wants to solve the Health Facility problems to the villages viz. Gyamdong, Tsangteng, Gongkhar, Khet, Grengkhar, Tengten, Lharghang, Khardung, Soma, Surbi, etc under Tawang District of Aruanchal Pradesh.
I Geshe Thupten Phuntsok (Lharam Ph.D in Buddhist Philosophy) has been observing such problems of health faced by the poor villagers since many years. And i felt very much sentimental towards these poor and needy peoples in this matter. I have decided to open a Medical/Health Care at village Gongkhar by forming the society as "Gongkhar Medical Tree Society, Tawang" by good support from like minded sponsors to fulfill the dreams whcih has been long awaited in this remote village.
